Does AtalasDB need to run on the same instances as the datastore, or can it run external to the store and, for example, connect to a managed cloud service such as Google's new Cloud Bigtable (<a href="https://cloud.google.com/bigtable/docs/" rel="nofollow">https://cloud.google.com/bigtable/docs/</a>)?
