Sad though just a few professions can enjoy such flexibility (coders, translators) - I did not put "designers" in it cose I believe the "sales process" is better to be face-to-face. I don't see how it could evolve more ? VR could help ?
Once you get into your fifties, getting hired as an engineer in the US gets much harder. A lot of people (myself included) have had to retire early as there's no market for older engineers in the area of the country we live in. I would prefer to be working, but employers in my area have other ideas.
