Posted from a friend's Facebook page. It really makes me think about the power corporates hold over people. As more and more tech companies gain relative monopoly in their field, these kind of inconveniences are doomed to happen more often.<p>"Need help from friends working at Facebook. I recently opened an account for my new mobile game on Facebook, to do some Facebook ads. But after configuring for 3 hours in the bug-ridden ad system and finally successfully launched a campaign, Facebook sent me a message saying my account has fraudulently activities and shut it down without giving anything specific. I appealed but they responded with nothing specific, only saying that they are not confident re-opening it. This level of bureaucratic behavior is just really hurting Facebook and its developers. So if anyone working at Facebook sees this please please help me out here. Thanks!<p>PS.
It is unbelievable that Facebook could just do this, shutting down your account, without giving a why. In a world of increasing corporate influence, and increasing integration into the web and the services the corporations provide, they hold power over people that used to belong only to governments. And a small percentage of such inconveniences could just spell disasters for people experiencing it. What's even worse is the automatic, monotonic responses, that give no specifics, no details, no instructions on what you should do, only what you cannot. Is this not some semblance of corporate dictatorship?
