Front-End Engineer<p>Call9 is hiring front-end web developers to help us transform emergency medicine.<p>Our Product Saves Lives<p>Our telemedicine platform connects doctors and patients via a web application that provides physicians with real-time diagnostic information. During a medical emergency, Call9 connects patients with physician within 1 minute. This means a doctor can make diagnostic decisions while a technician carries out the prescribed treatment — all before the patient arrives at the emergency room.<p>Who we Are We wrote our first line of code six months ago. Since then, we’ve finished Y Combinator and raised $10M in funding. Our investors include Index Ventures, Sam Altman, Pejman Mar Ventures, Joe Lonsdale, and Anne Wojcicki. We currently have less than 5 engineers, and less than 20 employees.<p>Who You Are You are passionate about building a product that people love. You relish the fact that doctors, nurses, and technicians rely on features you shipped to treat patients every day. And you thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you constantly strive to grow and learn, all while helping to invent the future of medicine.<p>You are highly proficient with HTML&#x2F;CSS and Javascript You have shipped browser applications that support complex UI&#x2F;UX flows using front-end web frameworks You are capable of iterating prototypes quickly, while working with designers, users, and other engineers<p>Technologies We Use Ruby on Rails Javascript, Backbone.js Android &#x2F; Java HL-7 Interfaces Third-party services such as Twilio and AWS<p>If you&#x27;re interested, contact XiaoSong at: xiaosong@callnine.com.
