San Francisco — Onsite Only
Email: eric@latticehq.com
ABOUT US
We’re making software to help companies run more cohesively, with better alignment and better management. Lattice helps companies set, track, and align their goals throughout the organization so that priorities are clear and teams stay focused. We’re quickly strengthening our product and building on this offering to help drive better communication and feedback throughout organizations. Lattice has a culture of high performance and shipping fast, and we’re looking to build our team with people who will help push us and themselves to do great work.
The founders are Jack Altman and Eric Koslow, who previously worked together as VP of Business Development and Lead Engineer at Teespring (YC W13). Lattice launched last month (http://techcrunch.com/2016/05/12/lattice-be-productive/) and announced a seed round from Thrive, Khosla, Marc Benioff, Sam Altman, SV Angel, Slack Fund, Fuel, and others.
ABOUT YOU: We’re looking for experienced front-end engineers that have a love for all things Javascript. Experience with React is a plus, but all you need is a desire to learn. We’re also looking for full stack engineers that have experience with NodeJS and PostgreSQL.
Responsibility: Because our team is still small, you’ll be given lots responsibly and impact in the overall architecture. You'll work with the team to build company changing features as well as be a decision maker in what direction we take both the code and product.
Our hiring process:
Step 1: 15-30 minute phone interview.
Details: Ask a few technical questions, see if it's a cultural fit, answer any questions you might have.
Step 2: Take home programming assignment.
Details: Assess ability to work through a real-life (ish) coding problem. You’ll be given 72 hours to create your solution, it should take you about 4-8 hours total to finish the assignment.
Step 3: In person interview with founders + a day of pairing
Details: If you’re in the bay area, come into the office and interview with the founders. Then spend the day pairing with one of our engineers or the CTO on the Lattice code base itself. Remote pairing okay as well.
