Over the past few months our quality of service with Rackspace Cloud Servers has plummeted. Servers will randomly die and while we receive a notification from Rackspace that they've detected and actioned this, the server remains dead. A reboot sometimes fixes it, sometimes the server is useless until Rackspace support slowly resolve the issue without commenting on the root cause.
At least once their support have tried to upsell me (loadbalancer, updated server) in order to try and resolve an issue.
Is this generally indicative of the Rackspace experience? We have Windows servers with them and few reliable hosts seem to offer the out-of-the-box Windows onboarding experience that RS have.
