My understanding is that Finnish students perform quite well in PISA scores, so well in fact, that they're top or near top scorers. However, unlike students from say Korea - another high scorer in the PISA tests - Finnish students don't have any homework nor take any tests. So with these very difffernt educational styles in mind, how do Finnish students get evaluated by American universities in terms of admission?<p>I'm hoping the answer is well beyond the realm of standardized tests SAT/ACT and that whatever the answer is sheds light on what American universities define as "education."<p>Thanks guys!!
