It seems obvious that Go has more users, and that with it, they build their servers and services. But that could also be done with Dart-vm, along with the browser interfaces and the mobile apps (Flutter) for their services.<p>Dart could also become a flagship language for developers targeting Google's platforms (if the whole Andromeda/Fuchsia OS leads that way and becomes semi-mainstream), the same way that Swift is Apple's flagship language.<p>To be clear, I'm not talking about the scope, design or features of each language (although that could be a considered point), but their importance to Google's strategy and dominance as seen from their point of view.
