I am currently facing the decision on how to continue to improve programming skills.<p>I have a masters in Mathematics, yet never wrote a line of code until 3 years ago when I started to learn JS. Almost 6 months ago I started learning Scala in order to get more into Data Science and improve my skills on this field.<p>I find Scala really is not an easy language to work with yet I am getting there. Now that I am diving into Data Science I am wondering if it makes sense to switch over to Python since documentations and all that seems to be so much better there. Plus it seems to be easier to learn and to improve quickly.<p>What do you guys think?
