Ask HN: Deciding equity when investor is co-founder's dad

2 pointsby arey_abhishekalmost 15 years ago
I recently recruited a co-founder for my venture and soon after wards his father agreed to fund us. Since its an early stage investment we'll have to give up a lot of equity. We still have to discuss the terms of the investment but I'm not looking forward to giving away majority of the company to one family. Does anybody here have advice on how to divide equity between two co-founders and an angel investor who is the co-founder's dad?
