People pay for services like Cloudflare and Incapsula so it is safe to assume that people will pay for security.
I pay for website backup software that backs up to a CDN, which I also pay for, in case my site crashes, I can restore it in about 10 minutes.
While I love the fact that Cloudflare offers a free plan, I am glad they also have paid plans, as nothing is free, but having that nice gesture helps. Security is definitely a commodity that people are willing to pay for if it "eases their pain", whatever pain they may have.
Outside of a computer, I bought an entire security system with 4 cameras, and paid a guy from Comcast under the table in cash to run them throughout the perimeter of my house, so I can see whats going, and have it recorded. I also pay for ADT security system that will alert me if someone tries to break into my house.
So for sure... security is a necessity for many and as long as you are reasonable with your pricing, people will certainly pay for that peace of mind.

Threatstack, Appcanary, etc. There are tons of companies built on the security SaaS tools model.
