Ask HN: We have a Who's Hiring thread, why not a Who's Interning thread?

5 pointsby crypticlizardover 7 years ago
For example, Bob needs 1 year experience to get foot in the door and initial contacts and to get positive feedback. Jill wants to hire interns and could help Bob get that experience.
Could you see this as being a successful regular sub similar to Who's Hiring?

"INTERN" is already a keyword in the whoishiring threads. Also, new ones like that aren't wanted: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15151412

Everybody has their own favorite monthly question. Yesterday somebody submitted "Who is selling/trading a side project?" https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15215331
I can point to an answer from a moderator last week on the "Who's mentoring?" thread idea: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=15151627
