If he'd stuck to the fact that standing for the anthem is a choice and that it's not correct to discriminate on that it'd been a better article, but he went on an unexplained tangent whether or not police shootings are increasing without a larger point being spelled out.<p>The larger point that is made to me is that not standing in order to protest police brutality is only acceptable if police brutality is actually a problem and not just one which is getting more press coverage.
