I've been reading into this field a lot lately, and find the work both interesting and valuable, but how do I get involved? I know there some tools/apps which are open source I could contribute to, but how does one get started as an actual digital activist in this regard? I have a weird and mixed tech/non-tech background, which I think gives me some useful insight. But I have no clue how to harness my interest or where to aim it exactly.
