I am considering moving my family from Seattle to a resort town full time in Colorado. My business requires me to travel 1 - 2 weeks a month but when at home I work only 15-20 hours per week max. For a number of reasons the Seattle area has lost its appeal for my family and without getting in a car we would love to be able to step out the door and hike or ski.<p>Currently it looks like my business (a medical startup) has a good forecat for at least the next three years and I make a decent salary. Are there any reasons not to move? What are the drawbacks of living in a resort town?
