Lvl5 (YC W17) is hiring software engineers for self-driving

1 pointsby akouriover 7 years ago
We receive video and other telemetry measurements from our fleet, and run advanced computer vision algorithms on the data to map the roads with high precision -- down to just a few centimeters. Unlike traditional maps, HD maps contain all the nitty-gritty details of the road, such as where the car should look for traffic lights, and how to turn through a complex intersection.
Our crowdsourced approach combines computer vision + consumer GNSS data with high-accuracy LiDAR base maps to make sure self-driving cars know about every change in the driving environment.
We're ex-Tesla and iRobot engineers on a mission to make self-driving cars scale everywhere in the world.
To apply, please send your resume to careers@lvl5.ai
We're looking for very bright people. You must have a software engineering background, however previous experience in autonomous vehicles or robotics is not a requirement (but a plus).
Stack is mostly Python with C++ and various other ML + SLAM tools.
