Email Attachment automatic upload in dropbox

1 pointsby MaryTurnerover 7 years ago
How many time you have asked yourself: “mmmhhh where is the file received via email” or “It would be cool an email attachments extractor to extract attachments and save them automatically, I’m bored of doing it manually”. Everyone got several personal own stories about the never-ending battle of the attachments management. We have received a lot of requests in this sense from our customers and we have implemented a feature that allows moving automatically email's attachments straight to your personal Dropbox account. "Straight to" means that you don't need to read your email since the add-on works at server side. If someone sends you an email, you will be automatically notified by dropbox about the incoming file. The path is built taking into account the email domain and the account itself. Let's show an example that it's faster than any words. If the incoming email is Robert@reddit.com the final path will be: application/servermx/reddit.com/Robert. For now is the first solution but we are implementing a panel to allow customizations. This features: "mail attachment downloader" could be helpful in several scenarios since allows to make shorter the chain between the sender and the receiver and classified the documents. We look forward to receive your ideas, suggestions to improve this new service.
servermx Team servermx.com
