After mostly ignoring the hype over the past several years, I’m looking to learn about blockchain tech.
Though technical myself, I’d like to start with a less-technical overview of the technology and it’s potential, before taking deep dives into the more technical aspects. There seem to be a number of well-reviewed books on Amazon, but given how new the space is and how fast things are changing, I’m not really sure what to trust/where to start, and was hoping the wisdom of the HN community could point me towards some good starting resources :)
Course on Hyperledger, enterprise grade blockchain
https://www.edx.org/course/blockchain-business-introduction-...
Course on cryptocurrency:
https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency
I have taken both, the coursera course actually walks thru some other data structures needed to build a blockchain, and points you in the direction of more heavy math if you want to go there.
Both of courses are solid introduction to blockchain tech. And best of all they are both free. :)
