Ask HN: State of the art for code snippets in KeyNote/PPT

2 pointsby dyover 7 years ago
I'm working on a Keynote presentation that includes code and can't believe the pain of formatting code snippets.
I've seen this presentation https://www.slideshare.net/LookAtMySlides/codeware which is great but doesn't offer much in terms of tactics.
The methods I know:
- VS Code has "Copy with Syntax Highlighting" which I think is the best so far - LiveSlides.com could be cool for embedding a webpage but it requires running a separate app so sharing a presentation requires some minor training - Screenshots look good but are hard to maintain
What I would love:
- Embeddable REPLs with syntax highlighting in Keynote - Embeddable web pages
Any other ideas or state of the art things people are doing?
