I'm a software developer(mostly Java) with 15+ years of experience. I being offered a job involving router configuration and all that is related to get communication systems running including support. I was told that very few people nowadays have the necessary knowledge. Is this true? Do you think it is worthwhile to learn this technology? Is this a technology that makes it easy to find employment in the future?
