Ask HN: Advise on Long-Term Data Storage and Availability

3 pointsby laamalifalmost 7 years ago
I'm running books digitization project in Pakistan (Urdu Literature) from past two years. I've around 4TB raw data at this moment and around 700K files and growing. I use dropbox lepton for offsite backups to save some S3 costs. I'm planing to build website and mobiles applications by end of year.
I want to ensure that data should be available to public even after my death :D for at-least 20 years in future..
I'm seeking for suggestions/answers for below concerns..
1) How to manage servers/storage/bandwidth with upfront cost (Amazon does not offer future billing)
2) How to deal with Copyright infringement specially with publishers
3) How to ensure users cannot download or redistribute books (Amazon Cognito with S3?)
