Ask HN: Would you pay for a virtual fitting product for apparel?

1 pointsby ricberwover 6 years ago
Imagine the ability to see your body with apparel in many sizes from your favorite brands fit to it in a full 360 degree 3D viewer (so you can see all angles). For the sake of argument, let's assume the renderings are photorealistic and physically accurate based on the apparel being 3D scanned and your body being imported within ~1" accuracy on all dimensions.
Would you pay for the product? If so, how much?
This has been done before in many different ways - but never with photorealism and physical accuracy.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts :)
