Any established market that serves its constituencies very well is doomed to be disrupted. I am not saying that, Clayton Christensen does.
I am wondering if such disruption will come from the marketplace - in which case it might be already happening with the rise of Art Fairs the world over and the decrease in number and in importance of gallerists; or if the true Disruption will come from the Artists themselves. After all it has been over 100 year since Duchamp's Fountain, time to shake things up a bit.
So, I am asking the sharp, creative, and innovative minds of HK: got any idea of what's out there that is (or will soon be) disrupting the Art World as we know it?
