Ask HN: Did your taxes increase in 2018?

I haven't done my taxes yet but very concerned about the cap on SALT (state and local tax) deductions kicking in in 2018 as someone living in California.

Pretty much invariably this is what I'm seeing- if you live in states with huge state tax- ny, ca- then taxes increased. Otherwise decreased.
