Hi there, I am the author of Zena http://zenadmin.org (yes, I need to update the website: it's ugly).
Although the website does not really show it, it's one of the most advanced CMS tools out there. Since the Zena framework is so large, I'd like to know if I should propose a talk for RailsConf 2011 on one of the parts or just a presentation of the whole (like creating a web app from xhtml design). To give an idea, here are some of the topics that could be covered on their own:
- RubyLess (safe, typed ruby)
- Property (schema-less objects, powerful indexes, versioning)
- QueryBuilder (sql compiler with RubyLess/Property integration)
- Zafu (xhtml based functional templating language, uses RubyLess)
- VirtualClass/Roles (database defined ruby classes with inheritance and mix-in)
- Extending Zena / integrating Zena in an existing app
Thanks for any hint (especially if you've been to a RailsConf).
