I've been using a virtual mailbox service (Earth Class Mail, earthclassmail.com) for personal and business mail in California & New York over the past few years. Lately more and more entities (banks, creditors, insurers) detect my 'premium physical addresses' as mail forwarding locations and reject them as though they were PO Box numbers. I then use my real residential address as required, defeating the purpose of using an expensive virtual service.<p>Meanwhile Earth Class Mail has more than doubled my monthly bill with insidious fees, and I'm receiving important mail later and later (sometimes weeks, missing deadlines and due dates) so I've decided to at least change providers, as painful as it is. We don't have a permanent office location and for privacy's sake I don't want to use my home address for business purposes, but there must be a better way. Especially for business, how do you handle addresses and incoming mail? Thank you!
