I phrased the question wrong in an earlier thread and thought I'd give it another go. I'm a self-taught web developer/writer/maker. I've had a huge desire to run my own business since I was young. I've been homeless, traveled to three different states in search for work. I've struggled for a long time. I'm becoming more and more motivated but it seems the harder I try the less amount of direction I end up having. I'm looking for a mentor. Someone that could help me learn and grow into the person I want to be. It's a bit vague, I know, but I think something good could come from this.
If you'd like to learn more about me before you reach out, check out the links below. In my last post, I offered to pay someone to mentor me but in all honesty, I am barely scraping by each week. I'm sure I could make it worth your while, in time, but I realize it would take patience and risk to spend spare time answering my questions. Anyways, I really appreciate your time for reading this, even if you can't help!
https://blog.usejournal.com/my-story-as-a-homeless-developer-5874731c42ed
https://medium.com/@jessehorne/three-day-saas-launch-a-true-story-9cf9e39fbb65
https://github.com/jessehorne
EDIT
I'd like to specify that I have ideas that I'm considering pursuing but I'm no longer actively pursuing a specific idea. I've had a few in the past that have failed. I'm 22 years old. I started programming when I was young. Somewhere between 11 and 13. I forget. I've worked professionally for two years and on my own, on and off, for several years. Full time for the past year! A year ago, I was homeless. I've worked what seems like non-stop for a year. Long hours. Lots of PHP and what not. I read about a variety of things every day. I guess I'm just trying to find a path. What I've been doing hasn't been working.
