ROFL.<p>That's possibly so, but for MSFT that's the pot calling the kettle black.<p>MSFT has a very long history of ripping off stuff. Especially from its partners, and especially in the mid to late 1990s.<p>Among others: (From Wikipedia)<p>STAC: STAC's File compression stolen to be released as MSFT's DoubleSpace.<p>Sendo: Microsoft was to deliver code for the StingerOS by June ... but by December not enough code had been delivered by Microsoft. Under the deal, if Sendo was declared insolvent "Microsoft would obtain an irrevocable, royalty free licence to use Sendo's Z100 intellectual property, including rights to make, use, or copy the Sendo Smartphone to create other Smartphones and to, most importantly for Microsoft, sublicense those rights to third parties."
