My startups Facebook business account was restricted for unspecified policy violations. The restriction email came immediately after a failed billing notification, and we've only ever had one ad rejected since we launched. I'm almost certain it's unrelated to policy, as my startup is highly uncontroversial (taxi SaaS provider), and is a case of automation.
As a result, we're unable to place any ads, invite any new admins to our Facebook page, update any business information or manage associated developer apps. Unless this can be resolved, this company is dead in the water.
Facebook support has been awful. There appear to be two different forms for appealing an account restriction. One of these forms resulted in the account being apparently reinstated after a few days, however the restriction is still in place. The other form didn't get a reply for almost a week, before they determined that the account would remain closed, and the support ticket was closed, with no way to reopen or escalate.
Has anyone found a way past this?
