Ask HN: Why the Href Inconsistency?

At the top of the HN front page the &#x27;Y&#x27; logo links to &#x27;https:&#x2F;&#x2F;news.ycombinator.com&#x27;, but the &#x27;Hacker News&#x27; title links to &#x27;news&#x27; (expanded to https:&#x2F;&#x2F;news.ycombinator.com&#x2F;news).
