Ask HN: Advice on printing a paper xmas jumper?

1 pointsby macca321over 5 years ago
With Christmas Jumper day rapidly approaching, and the news that the xmas jumper industry is contributing to the microplastic crisis (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-50682657), there couldn't be a more timely time for this Xmas Jumper Pattern Generator to come to my attention: https://codepen.io/cobra_winfrey/full/ZEYzMBj
I was thinking that with the right kind of paper (a bit more flexible than writing paper) and the right design (and some tape) one might be able to fashion a snazzy, eco-friendly christmas jumper which could be printed at zero cost using the office colour laser.
Unfortunately my google-fu is letting me down, in terms of finding - the right kind of paper to use - the right kind of clothing pattern to print out
Can you help me save Christmas?
