putting on a second edition of Algorithmic Art Assembly https:&#x2F;&#x2F;grayarea.org&#x2F;event&#x2F;algorithmic-art-assembly-2020&#x2F;<p>which will feature amongst others:<p>Ross Goodwin, behind the machine learning generated script for the short film Sunspring - &quot;filmmaker Oscar Sharp turned to his technologist collaborator Ross Goodwin to build a machine that could write screenplays. They created &quot;Jetson&quot; and fueled him with hundreds of sci-fi TV and movie scripts. Building a team including Thomas Middleditch, star of HBO&#x27;s Silicon Valley, they gave themselves 48 hours to shoot and edit whatever Jetson decided to write. &quot;<p>Hannah Davis, &quot;generative musician and researcher based in NYC. She is the creator of TransProse, which programmatically translates text into a musical piece with a similar emotional tone. Her generated music has been played at The Louvre, the BMW Museum, the Fabrica Alta, and others.&quot;<p>Musical headliners are Myriam Bleau, &quot;creates audiovisual systems that go beyond the screen, such as sound installations and performance-specific musical interfaces. Her hybrid electronic practice explores music performance as a codified cultural manifestation and recontextualizes pop culture elements and music history tropes.&quot;<p>and Richard Devine &quot;combining influences from glitch music to old and modern electronic music.
