Ask HN: Are online Git repositories safe for your code?

1 pointsby thallukrishover 5 years ago
I use bitbucket for version control of the code I write for my startup. When I login, I see the standard 'Agree to T&C' checkbox. I do not read them, even if I did I do not understand their implications. Is it safe to keep your code especially a startup product's code in terms of IP, in terms of stability? Please let me know if there are better options.
