Ask HN: Whats the best way for a script kid to learn good development practices?

2 pointsby jackgoldingover 5 years ago
I have worked for years writing data manipulation scripts mainly in Jupyter notebooks but some web development (Flask) and production data pipelines (Airflow) for small businesses. There is (understandly) a lot of disdain on HN about Jupyter notebooks.<p>I am keen on learning better programming practices as a (mainly) solo developer - are there any great resources anyone can recommend to upskill? (Understanding that I know the syntax of the language quite well)
