Few things businesses need to keep in mind to stop the Coronavirus:<p>1. The virus can be circulated through the A/C or ventilation system hence disinfectants need to be added.
2. Proper queue markers are needed to enforce social distancing. Security and staff should always advise everyone not to get close to others. If there is a public broadcasting system reminders on the need for social distancing should be broadcasted regularly.
3. The surfaces people touch need to be disinfected periodically.
4. People should be advised not to touch items in stores unless they are buying the item. Items on shelves need to be disinfected regularly. Staff should take the items and hand them over so that not everyone touches the goods. Staff and security should ensure as few people touch goods to be sold. If there is a public broadcasting system customers need to be reminded not to touch items directly unless they are buying it or request a staff member to handle or show the item whilst maintaining the required distance.
5. Credit cards, shared pens, trolls, baskets need to be disinfected from customer to customer.
6. If possible make masks and hand sanitizers available for purchase at the business premises.
7. Disinfect hands while entering and leaving. This should not only be while entering.
8. Ensure food and goods handling staff are regularly screened.
