This is a question I've been mulling over for years. I'm a young guy - still in college for IT - but since the final years of high school I've felt that education hasn't really evolved much compared to what it was 100 years ago. With the recent mass movement to remote learning given COVID-19, that belief has been challenged but not completely removed from thought.
I have ideas of building a platform utilizing VR, ML, and OER (open educational resources) that could bring one-on-one personalized learning to the masses. That's what the future of edu looks like to me but I'm obviously a bit biased and, admittedly, inexperienced.
What do you think? How will kids be educated in 100 years?
Also, I'm incredibly interested in speaking with teachers/educators (or anyone with insights on this subject) about the future of education.
