My cofounder and I are in the process of creating our company. We are both from Europe, and the service we will provide will be available worldwide. When reviewing options for incorporating the company, we thought of Hong Kong (we both lived in nearby Guangzhou for several years). Taxes are low, incorporation is easy, so it seems like a good fit. However, I am wondering if that may cause us trouble down the line. Will it make it harder to raise money, or any other large scale transaction with US or European companies?
