Capital One Air Mile Points Are Changing

1 pointsby Ptrullialmost 5 years ago
Over 10 years ago I signed up for the capital one aspire travel point card. Perks were the following: 10,000 points upon signing (equal $100) 10,000 on the anniversary date. 2 miles per dollar spent. No expiry, you can book with any airline and you can travel anytime.
This past week I received a letter, dear Mr x we are changing your capital one aspire travel policy. Now there is no longer a 10,000 point anniversary. And now it's 1.5 airmiles per dollar. Everything else stays the same. For the card itself it's a 150 yearly charge.
All this means is I'm looking at other air travel cards and companies comparing options. What air mile card do you use? And why?
