Hello HN!
I've been working on a website about remote work for almost 2 years now and I feel I'm still searching for my angle. Maybe you can give me some advice?
1. I know there are a lot of remote job boards out there and I see no point in building just another one.
2. It needs to be something different! I first started with a list of remote companies:
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19444960
3. But then built a lot of stuff. If you're curious, I list almost all my features here:
https://remotehub.io/sale
4. And now I'm thinking about putting the focus again on the companies – started to surface teams on the front page every day.
5. I think I have some interesting data about companies, like their remote team locations, benefits they offer, remote work tools they use etc that can be useful when looking for a team to join.
What do you think, how can I make it useful for you? Are you interested in discovering remote companies like this?
– Rauno (raumet.com)
You should just remove the annoying link at the bottom right which follows you around even if you scroll. There is already an about page in your site, thus I can easily find who you are if I care.
