Ask HN: Franchising zoom for companies a good idea?

2 pointsby joalavedraover 4 years ago
After a conversation with a peer in [PeerPull](https://peerpull.com/) and an interesting idea came up. As of today, many companies are using Zoom to share online links on their social networks and engage with their audience. Free webinars, paid ones, QAs, sprint weeks, you name it. The company buys a licence from Zoom based on their audience and use it as a tool to communicate online. But as a company, there is no way to keep an engaged audience during the before or after. You see what I mean right?
Companies could leverage a tool to keep an engaged community active for their external communications. The reason I said franchising is because these companies could use subdomains to stay visible and own the platform to their branding.
Has anyone thought about this before? Is anyone tired of the zoom flow of clicking on a registration link, downloading zoom, launching the program from the computer , etc.?
