TL;DR: I'm looking for a partner with a business background and with a passion for creating counterculture content in video form to help me build my startup into the giant that I know it can be.
Hi guys,
I'm new here, so apologies if I've missed some rules about posting.
My name is Hassan. I'm originally from Egypt, and moved to Canada at the age of 18 on my own following the Arab Spring. I went to law school, did well, and worked at big corporate law firms both in Toronto and then in Silicon Valley. On the side, I had some entrepreneurial gigs and discovered some passions. One of those passions involved making videos. Coincidentally, these videos did really well and I fell in love with making videos and creating content (even before it did well).
Despite all the appeal and glam of being in Silicon Valley and in tech law, I couldn't stop the buzzing in my ear to leave everything that I'm doing and to focus my time and energy on building a business around my passion: creating video content. So I did; I'm now working on building Not in the Cards Media. But I can't do it alone; I'm looking for YOU (OR someone you know)!
My ideal partner would be living in Canada or the US, has an MBA or a business background, and is obsessed with creating video content/a media company. Ideally, you have tremendous organizational skills, are very patient, and don't have ADHD (one of us is probably more than enough, and I've met that requirement).
Happy to discuss anything at all! In case it gives you a sense of who I am, here's a playlist of some of the more popular videos that I've made back in 2017:
https://www.facebook.com/watch/126049431385716/196007024291973
Message me – you don't have anything to lose (and potentially a lot to gain)!
