My roommate / cofounder and I released an iOS app that allows you to easily export your Apple health data to JSON or CSV. This is the tool for you if you ever wanted to do custom analysis or visualizations of your apple health data!<p>The idea for this came when I wanted to incorporate weight and water tracking data to my food diary website www.joelogs.com I figured I could simply export the data logged to Apple health but was surprised how difficult this actually was. A google search for "export apple health data" turned up results full of similarly frustrated folks. I even spent money and bought a few apps on the App Store that supposedly solved this problem. Only one of them worked but the number of taps to do my export was cumbersome for daily use.<p>Both of us have experience building apps but neither of us had actually released to the app store. We figured this was a well scoped problem, solved our own needs, and would be a great learning opportunity for using SwiftUI and going through the App Review process (definitely learned a lot!).<p>I use this app daily now.
