The icons are inconsistent and un-Apple; I’m very surprised such designs ever got out to the public.

Looks like perhaps they're going to try to re-live their iMac G3 MacOS 10.1 days of bubbly colorful UI? Can't wait to get my translucent tangerine iPhone.

Just a facelift for their GUI, and a better battery manager for OSX.
