It seems many of the more exciting opportunities are only available for people authorized to work in the US.
I've been doing some soul searching and I always come back to the idea that I want to work on "building the future of humanity" in some manner, and Neuralink would be one suitable avenue for that.
Lacking other opportunities at the moment, I get the feeling that the best bet for me is to achieve financial independence by any means necessary (even if it means doing useless widgets), and then just pursue the main goal afterwards, even if I have to do alone.
I don't like it though, and I'd ideally want to find a more direct path to get there.
