This was posted previously[1]. I am reposting because the &quot;Permissive Security&quot; option that appeared to allow operation of the operating systems has been removed. Wayback Machine[2] has captured the original page. I&#x27;m not sure if they are changing their stance or what, I was under the impression this would be allowed. I had to add a new param to bypass dupe detection, I think this warrants a new story. The heading you want to look at is here[3]<p>[1] <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;news.ycombinator.com&#x2F;item?id=25145119" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;news.ycombinator.com&#x2F;item?id=25145119</a><p>[2] <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;web.archive.org&#x2F;web&#x2F;20201117164532&#x2F;https:&#x2F;&#x2F;support.apple.com&#x2F;guide&#x2F;mac-help&#x2F;macos-recovery-a-mac-apple-silicon-mchl82829c17&#x2F;11.0&#x2F;mac&#x2F;11.0" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;web.archive.org&#x2F;web&#x2F;20201117164532&#x2F;https:&#x2F;&#x2F;support.a...</a><p>[3] <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;support.apple.com&#x2F;guide&#x2F;mac-help&#x2F;macos-recovery-a-mac-apple-silicon-mchl82829c17&#x2F;11.0&#x2F;mac&#x2F;11.0#mchl9b13cbdc" rel="nofollow">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;support.apple.com&#x2F;guide&#x2F;mac-help&#x2F;macos-recovery-a-ma...</a>
