Ask HN: How secure, is privacy protection for Google domains?

3 pointsby captainzidgelover 4 years ago
Looking to purchase a domain. Google domains offers a WHOIS protection option where the domain is registered through some sort of shell corp or something, but you have to provide your real name and address for the ICANN.<p>There are people on the internet that don&#x27;t like me, to say the least, and I tend to lean overprotective of my own safety. Is there any reason to think my address&#x2F;name would not be 100% secure?
