AROUNDAWORLD originated as a Phoenix LiveView demo app that we built over a couple of weekends. A simple idea with a compelling mission - get as many people people as possible to "walk" around the world, in the comfort of their homes. In a year plagued by pandemics, decaying democracy, and incessant lockdowns, we wanted to get people all around the world to roll their sleeves and work together again. Even in a challenge, as silly as this one.
