I used Gallium on a Chromebook before we got the ability to use Linux (Beta). Gallium is one of the best Linux distros I've ever used. It is built on Xubuntu and keeps simplicity in mind. I'd recommend it to every Chrome OS user out there. The devs are pretty nice too.
