Even if it's true this will be countered by the massive increase in demand for developers, so it likely won't mean you struggle to find a job even if you don't test anything at all, so it's effectively meaningless.

I am not even sure I understand the premise... I mean, how do you not test? Maybe I have just done a bad job of being lazy all this time.

How I wish it would be true, but first companies do need to actually pay for testing efforts on the outsourcing budgets.
