"Decrypting Signal messages and attachments was not an easy task. It required extensive research on many different fronts to create new capabilities from scratch. At Cellebrite, however, finding new ways to help those who make our world a safer place is what we’re dedicated to doing every day."
Considering how Signal is open source and makes zero effort at hiding what algorithms they use, and that sqlcipher is a standard product, all of this does not inspire confidence in the technical abilities of Cellebrite - or, their marketing. Which is kind of nice I guess.
Of course they make it sound like they did something amazing there, and somehow "broke" Signal.
